Censorship-Resistant Hosting
Run your own anti-DPI proxy on a fresh offshore IP that the Great Firewall and Iran's filters haven't blacklisted yet. VLESS+REALITY, Shadowsocks, Hysteria2, V2Ray or a Telegram MTProto proxy — deployed with a token, paid in crypto, with no identity attached.
Why it works here
- Fresh IPs, not recycled datacenter ranges already on blocklists
- No KYC — the one hosting you can pay for from Iran or Russia
- Crypto only: USDT, XMR, BTC — no card that sanctions can decline
- Full root: run any protocol, any port, any obfuscation
- We never log traffic and never inspect payloads
Your own exit is the only one they can't block wholesale
Public VPNs get discovered and blocked in bulk — a censor blocks the shared IP once and thousands lose access at once. A proxy on your own private VPS is a single unknown endpoint: it isn't on any blocklist until someone specifically finds it, and if an IP ever does get burned you redeploy on a fresh one in minutes. The catch has always been paying for that server from inside a censored, sanctioned country. That's the part we fix: rent with a token, pay in crypto, no name anywhere. Pick your protocol below — each page has honest characteristics, a matched VPS, and a copy-paste setup path.
Pick your protocol
The five that matter in 2026, from the undetectable REALITY handshake to the Telegram-specific MTProto proxy. Each page has realistic specs, per-jurisdiction pricing and a hardened setup guide.
VLESS + REALITY
China, Iran, Russia — 2026 gold standardThe undetectable one. Steals a real site's TLS handshake — a probe just sees HTTPS. Best against China's active probing.
Shadowsocks-2022
China (evergreen), low-power clientsThe battle-tested lightweight. Shadowsocks-2022 resists active probing and runs on almost nothing. China's evergreen workhorse.
Hysteria2
Iran (throttled mobile), high packet-loss networksFast where others crawl. QUIC/UDP with brutal congestion control beats deliberate throttling. Built for Iran's lossy mobile networks.
V2Ray / VMess
CDN-fronting fans, existing v2ray/VMess configsThe CDN-fronting classic. VMess + WebSocket + TLS behind Cloudflare hides your origin IP entirely. Mature and everywhere.
MTProto Proxy
Iran, Russia — Telegram access specificallyTelegram-specific and tiny. mtg with fake-TLS restores Telegram in one tap. The go-to for Iran and Russia.
Which protocol beats which block, side by side
There's no single best — it depends on your country's blocking method and your network. Use this to choose, then follow the matched setup guide.
| Protocol | Transport & camouflage | DPI resistance | Throughput | Strongest in | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| VLESS + REALITY | REALITY — borrows a real site’s TLS 1.3 handshake | Highest — no fingerprint, no cert, no domain | Excellent (TCP + uTLS) | China, Iran, Russia — 2026 gold standard | Setup guide |
| Shadowsocks-2022 | AEAD-2022 ciphers, optional v2ray-plugin (TLS/WS) | High — 2022 edition resists active probing & replay | Excellent — the lightest option here | China (evergreen), low-power clients | Setup guide |
| Hysteria2 | QUIC / UDP + Salamander obfuscation | High — masquerades as ordinary HTTP/3 | Best on lossy / throttled links (brutal congestion ctrl) | Iran (throttled mobile), high packet-loss networks | Setup guide |
| V2Ray / VMess | VMess + WebSocket + TLS, Cloudflare-CDN-frontable | High behind a CDN — traffic looks like your CDN domain | Good; CDN fronting adds a hop but hides the origin | CDN-fronting fans, existing v2ray/VMess configs | Setup guide |
| MTProto Proxy | MTProto + fake-TLS (dd / ee secret) | High for Telegram — fake-TLS mimics an HTTPS site | Excellent — purpose-built for Telegram | Iran, Russia — Telegram access specifically | Setup guide |
Why host your proxy offshore, without KYC
Payable from anywhere
Card processors decline Iran and Russia; mainstream hosts demand ID. A token + crypto is the onboarding that actually completes from a censored country.
A private, unknown IP
Shared VPN IPs are enumerated and blocked. Your own VPS is one endpoint the censor has to find first — and you can rotate it the moment it's burned.
Any protocol, full root
Reality, Shadowsocks, Hysteria2, V2Ray, MTProto — or all at once on different ports. Nothing on the server is locked down; the box is yours.
No logs, no inspection
We don't log traffic, throttle protocols or inspect payloads. Circumvention is a workload we welcome across all seven jurisdictions.
Which protocol for which country?
In China, deep packet inspection plus active probing is the threat — the Great Firewall pokes suspicious endpoints to see if they're proxies. VLESS+REALITY is the 2026 answer: it borrows a real website's TLS handshake, so a probe just sees an ordinary HTTPS site. Shadowsocks-2022 is the lightweight veteran and still holds up, especially with a plugin.
In Iran, the bigger enemies are aggressive throttling and total Telegram/social blocks. Hysteria2's QUIC transport keeps working when the network is deliberately made lossy, and a Telegram MTProto proxy restores Telegram specifically. V2Ray behind a Cloudflare CDN hides your origin entirely — useful anywhere the censor is willing to block IPs but not the CDN. In Russia, most of these still work; Reality and Shadowsocks are the common picks.
Why a fresh IP is half the battle
Censors don't only fingerprint protocols — they blocklist known datacenter IP ranges wholesale. A brand-new server on a range that hasn't been used for proxies yet gets you past the crudest, most common block before the protocol even matters. That's why recycled 'anonymous VPN' IPs stop working: they're already famous.
Every ServPrivate VPS ships a dedicated IPv4 that's yours alone. If it ever gets blocked, redeploy in a different jurisdiction from your dashboard and you're back — no ticket, no ID check, no new payment method. Pick a location by latency to you (Netherlands, Romania and Moldova are closest to the Middle East; see each protocol page for guidance) and keep a second jurisdiction in your back pocket.
Censorship-resistant hosting FAQ
01 Is this legal? Am I doing something wrong?
Renting a server and running a proxy on it is legal in all seven of our jurisdictions — it's the same category of tool as a VPN or Tor. Accessing the open internet is a recognized right; circumvention software is used every day by journalists, researchers and ordinary people. What laws apply to you inside your own country is your call to make.
02 Can I actually pay for this from Iran, China or Russia?
Yes — that's the whole point. There's no card, no bank and no ID in the flow. You create a token, top up in USDT, Monero, Bitcoin or five other coins, and deploy. Crypto is the one rail sanctions and card-processor blocks can't sever.
03 Which protocol should I choose?
For China, start with VLESS+REALITY. For Iran's throttling, try Hysteria2; for Telegram specifically, an MTProto proxy. Shadowsocks-2022 is a reliable all-rounder, and V2Ray behind a CDN hides your origin. The comparison table above maps each to its strongest use — and full root means you can run several and switch.
04 What if my IP gets blocked?
Redeploy on a fresh server, ideally in a different jurisdiction, from your dashboard — minutes, no re-verification. Because you never gave an identity, there's nothing tying the new IP to the old one. Keeping a spare in a second location is a common habit.
05 Do you keep logs of what I connect to?
No. We don't log traffic, connections or DNS, and we don't inspect or throttle payloads. The VPS is a bare Linux box with full root — what runs on it and what it connects to is visible only to you.
06 How many people can share one proxy?
A VPS-S comfortably serves one person or a couple of devices. For a family or a small friend group, VPS-M. If you're reselling access or serving dozens, VPS-L. All tiers have unlimited bandwidth, so the limit is CPU and concurrent connections, not a data cap.
